Hey everyone... it's time for another Trumpapalooza! We'll be celebrating the wonderful world of trick-taking games. From Briscola to Bridge, we'll be doing it all today! Join us for some yummy food and a few cold drinks at Not Your Average Joe's in Medford (http://www.notyouraveragejoes.com/) for some fun with some great people. Laurel has graciously offered to host today's event.
Our featured game:
9-5-2 (http://files.meetup.com/1460145/952.pdf) (warning:PDF file) is a Canadian game adapted from the card game Sargeant Major. This is a three player trick-taking game with elements from Bridge, Spades, Hearts and Briscola. We think you will like this game as it is easy to play, and it is a new spin on some of the other games we play. Sarah says it could become a new C&C favorite!
Of course, we'll probably see some of the following card games today:
Bridge * Hearts * Spades * Briscola * Euchre * 500 * Pinochle
Here's a list of trick-taking games (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_trick-taking_games)... choose your favorite!

HOW TO GET THERE
This location is easily accessible from Rt. 16, Rt. 28 and Rt. 93, and is walking distance from the T, near the new Station Landing apartment complex. Here is a map of the area (http://photos2.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/8/9/f/e/highres_16055326.jpeg).
By Subway: Take the Orange Line to Wellington. Walk over the skybridge and cross through the parking lot. Upon exiting the garage, you'll see a building complex (SL75) across the street. Cross the street and take a right. Follow around this building and you'll find Not Your Average Joe's on the opposite side of the street.
By Car: If you are driving, be aware that Station Landing is at the intersection of Rt. 16 and Rt. 28, and you can enter the Station Landing complex from the north-bound side of Rt. 28, or the east-bound side of Rt. 16. There are a number of stores in the Station Landing complex -- look for the Margarita's, Starbucks or Not Your Average Joe's signs. NYAJ is located right off of Rte. 28. Although there is free parking all around the building, we recommend that C&C members park in the garage underneath the restaurant.
