The Boston Japanese Films, Anime, & Cultural Group is dedicated to the sharing of and learning about Japanese culture, Japanese language, Japanese Films, and Japanese Anime. The Boston Japanese Films, Anime, & Cultural Group is open to the public and all are welcome! You must be 18 or older to join following the meetup.com guidelines. The organizers host a variety of Japanese culture appreciation events and we are always open to ideas from our members! Our organizers hold a weekly dinner meetup to provide new members and existing members alike to meet one another and socialize while enjoying a Japanese meal. Once a month an organizer will host a Movie Night for members to watch Japanese Films and Japanese Anime Movies. Once a month an organizer will host an Anime Night for members to watch a random selection  of Japanese Anime Series episodes. Periodically an organizer will host an Anime Series Night in which a group of members get together to watch all episodes of a full Anime series.  When a local theater is showing a Japanese Film or a Japanese Anime Movie an organizer will schedule a meetup so that the members can attend the film together as a group. A post discussion meetup is held at the close of the film at a nearby Japanese restaurant. Our members attend Japanese Anime conventions and Japanese concerts, and cosplay together as well!

If you are interested in Japanese culture, Japanese language, Japanese Films, and Japanese Anime and meeting like-minded people, this group is for you! Joining The Boston Japanese Films, Anime, & Cultural Group you will meet people that are just as enthusiastic as you about Japanese culture, Japanese language, Japanese Films, and Japanese Anime in a safe public setting.
