Introducing MoRev, a collective of athletes, coaches and event coordinators that have come together to bring Parkour and Freerunning into the New England area with weekly classes, jams, clinics, special events and practice spaces. Our goal is to provide the community with the connections to other athletes and the layout of the fundamentals to make Parkour a part of your life and daily discipline.

-------------------------------------- This week we will meet at the Harvard Red Line t Stop, otherwise known as "The Pit". We'll start here and after waiting for people we'll head into the campus to get to some cool spots.--------------------------------
Winter Training!!

Never too late!

Even though it's near dead-winter, NEPK and MoRev are going to be hosting a series of free Parkour classes at some classic spots around the city of Boston. These classes are free, fun and are designed to casually ease you into a smooth traceur.

What to bring/wear:

-Sweats/Sweatshirt. Basically dress in layers. It's always good to have a solid training outfit at the core of your clothing bundle (think loose pants/shorts, a t and some socks) but to an extra shield of warmth to allow you to get prime your body for the day.

-Water! None of that gatorade/electrolyte crap. Even though it's winter and you won't notice as apparently, you'll end up dehydrated and cramping.

-Shoes. Now every traceur loves their own brand and type of shoe. But basically there are two rules to follow. One. Make sure they tie! No velcro/slip on/crocs. Two!

That's a perfect example of the type of shoe you want to use (formed arch, full rubber sole), and one that you do NOT want to use (flat shoes, skate shoes). If yours doesn't fit this mold thats fine, just pick your best ;)

In the future we may take the train/go out and eat so plan your wallets accordingly (and get a charlie card)

I hope to see a few of you there next weekend! We'll be holding these as long as it's possible to with the weather.

Any questions feel free to ask!
