As a participant, the speed networking was the place for me-acquired lots of natural and now qualified prospects for what I do and exceedingly happy with the results. Booth people were very open to discussions, knew their stuff and we created a lot of partnering opportunities. Great idea, great show for business development. Thanks, Neil Licht

What was the 'speed networking?' I had to leave at 3:45 p.m.. Thank you! BTW, what is your business, if I may ask?

The page that talks about directions and parking says, "cannot be found." Can anyone suggest an inexpensive place to park, even if it requires a healthy power walk?

      Thanks, Pavlina. Which end, though?

Towards mass ave, further away from the garden. Not towards Chinatown. Newbury street starts at the common, follow that direction

Hello, Does anyone know how do I register here to reserve a Networking spot? I don't have a business yet but have put in some quality time and effort in researching. The Registration Form includes the address of my company, but I don't have one.

Expos are tricky. Is there anyone actually looking to do business? Although I would love for everyone to know my business, my goal is to really make connections and just promote my business.

    2 · October 15, 2013

    • Nicole T.

I have been to a few expos in the past year and nothing has really come of it for me. I have made some connections but none that have resulted in any sort of financial gain. Therefore, I will opt not to attend and focus on smaller business networking groups through MeetUp. May the rest of you gain success that I was unable via this venue.

      2 · October 15, 2013

    • Anjela C.

Correction: and NOT just promote. @Nicole - so true. I've had better success at smaller networking events as well.

At 12pm in Room 4 I will be offering a 45-minute workshop on "Are You Running Your Business ... OR Is Your Business Running You?" If you are a small-to-midsized business owner or CEO with frustrations on how well your business runs, and WANT to find a way to turn it into a well-oiled machine--this is for you! See you there!

      Hi Qutul,
Prior to starting my own bookkeeping practice, I was an Accounting manager for a Home Health Care, primarily elder care. We had more than 800 patients. Send me a private message if you would be interested to meet at the Expo and discuss how I can be of help.

Qutul, Congrats. Send me a private note and we can discuss.

Don't get to excited. I've attended many of similar events in the past. All business owners(myself included) will try to promote their businesses, not to get yours.

I think a table cost is around $1200 - $1500 at the EXPO.
