Kids on the Autism Spectrum and those with other learning disabilities often have a difficult time establishing meaningful social relationships with their peers. As parents, it can be heartbreaking to watch our children attempt to participate in a social situation, only to be excluded because of an inability to understand basic social queues and "the rules of the game".
The goal of this group is to offer events and venues where children dealing with similar issues can meet and interact in a way that is most comfortable for them and hopefully create some long term friendships. We believe this is a great way to increase self-confidence, self-esteem and lead to happier, healthier children!
