Are you interested in reading & discussing fiction, non-fiction, mystery, sci-fi / fantasy books?

Fiction or non-fiction. Not so much business.

What are a couple of books that you have read in the past and recommend? Why?

My favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut, and my favorite book of his is Timequake. I think he has a wonderful outlook on life, and it's insightfully and wittily written. Another may be 100 Years of Solitude by Garcia Marquez which is just beautiful.

What's currently on your to read "pile"? Go on - share with us!

I'm open to suggestions. I have a whole pile of books to read here, but I haven't gotten far with them.

We want to create a lively, active group. As a courtesy to everyone, if you RSVP "Yes" and things change, can you commit to changing your RSVP at least 2 hours before we meet, in case someone else wants to take your spot?

I'm interested in reading more, but I find it hard to motivate without social pressure or deadlines. I need to do more reading and less TV watching!
