Announcing a new Meetup for Boulder Beginner/Intermediate Mountain Bikers!
What: Marshall Mesa - 12 or 13.3 mile Loop
When: September 17,[masked]:30 PM
Marshall Mesa Community Ditch Trail
Hwy 93 & Marshall Rd
Boulder, CO 80301
Meet up to ride the Marshal Mesa trail - an earlier start - a bit more of a ride. This is a relatively easy trail. There are steps and some rocks, but you can always walk you bike up it if you can't peddle it. For more info look here:http://www.bouldercolorado.gov/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3017&Itemid=1016
NOTE: As before, disregard the "You are here" arrow on the map in the link above. We will meet at the newer parking lot (depicted with a "P" on the above trail map) right at the junction of Hwy 93 and Marshal Road.
Here's a profile and route detail on the 13.3 mile loop:http://files.meetup.com/1496219/Marshall-Doudy-Springbrook%20loop.jpg
This should take an hour and a half to two hours depending upon how quick we ride. Sunlight's waning these days, so please be there on time. We'll be leaving at 5:30 sharp so we can get done before it gets too dark.
I have a Toyota Solara with a tray style hitch rack, and a red cannondale. This is a fun ride and a great workout.
