Codecamp - Python and the Semantic Web

We've done it before "Python and Semantic Web" - but there's a lot to do.

If at all possible, install Python 2.6 (or 2.7) on your laptop.

I like using eclipse with the PyDev extension A LOT. Try it!

We'll look at several extension modules: how to install, how to use. Maybe:

RDFlib

beautiful soup - HTML scraping

a JSON module or two

maybe a web service or two

a triple store?

access to Lucene from Python

I have not moved from 2.6,7 to 3.0 yet. Some Semantic modules have caught up, but I'm not sure yet....
