Python for Data Science (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn)

Details
This meetup will be a kind of continuation of the "Python Essentials" meetup from the 18th. We'll move on from our discussion of Python essentials to talk about data science essentials in Python - Numpy, Pandas, and Scikit-Learn. We'll highlight and discuss their importance, with a focus on how to use and interact with the modules/libraries themselves.
(If you couldn't make it to the "Python Essentials" event, be sure to complete as much of the Python Codecademy track (https://www.codecademy.com/learn/python) as you can before coming.)
Similar to the "Python Essentials," this meetup will cover a lot of material, with the idea that you'll be able to kind of hit the ground running afterwords (or at least know where to get started). The first hour will be a presentation from an IPython notebook, and then the second hour will be more hands-off, allowing you to work through the material or pursue other interests. I'll plan on shooting out the IPython notebook about a week before the meetup (sometime around the 18th).
Before coming, it'll be useful to have a Python environment setup, and in particular have Numpy, Pandas, and Scikit-Learn installed. (Anaconda (https://www.continuum.io/downloads) is a great Python environment that includes all of those.) Feel free to shoot me questions anytime, or post them to the meetup channel. Hope to see y'all there!
