Re: [Bozeman-Climate-Alliance] Bozeman Climate Alliance Speakers' Bureau looking for speaking opportunities

thanks a billion for posting that. I'm fighting repetitive stress issues so I decided not to post sunday update, and yours filled the void.

I got another org that we can speak at: IWURC center. They need speakers for a seminar series.

Dear Bozeman Climate Alliance,

The Bozeman Climate Alliance Speakers' Bureau Working Group is requesting suggestions for organizations and events to which we can schedule talks regarding climate change and climate related issues.

The Speakers' Bureau Working Group was created as an effort to develop a core group of competent speakers as a means to inform, inspire, and motivate fellow citizens of Bozeman and the surrounding area on climate change issues.

This past week the group had its first meeting, and several members expressed interest in developing presentations on a variety of climate topics ranging from the general issue of climate change itself, to alternative/renewable energy solutions, and climate change induces species extinction.  Over the next two months, the group will work on creating, refining and perfecting these presentations.  And then with their presentations readied, ideally they'll have venues ready to host them!

That is why we are looking to create a database of organizations and events which might be interested in hosting a presentation by the members of the Speakers' Bureau.

If you have any suggestions, please email them to me at [address removed].  Any and all suggestions welcome, though preferably in and around the Bozeman area, and if you have contact information for your suggestions please send it along as well.

Thanks everyone and I'll see you at the upcoming Bozeman Climate Alliance Meetup, Tuesday the 24th.

Pete Lindahl
