We've been prepping for a few years. Love learning new things and sharing the skills we already have.
Sure! I think prepping is smart, but also fun and a great way to bring people together.
I'll do my best.
When I lived in the city I went through emergency management training, and that inspired me to prepare on a personal level. I think it would be great for meet-ups to provide opportunities for people to share their knowledge and increase skill sets - whether that is learning something completely new, or getting better at something they already have basic skills in.
Prepper transplants excited to be in Bozeman!
I enjoyed meeting the people, but this seemed to be much more politically focused than prepper focused. My first meeting, but the topic of the night (and it seemed the next topic suggested) were mostly about government issues and possiblly action/reaction. I am much more interested in leaning and sharing skills, and I'm not sure how much the group is doing that. I do think that if this was the focus it would be great, as from looking around the room, I bet with the talent present I could learn about building, animal husbendry, reloading, gardening, foraging, hunting, etc. I am not hugely interested in armchair prepping, as I could do so in chatrooms on the internet - I WOULD be very interested in sharing skills and ideas, and learning from those with diverse talents and knowledge.
