Learn studio photography hands-on!

In this studio meetup, which is limited to only four members, we will make a "standard business portrait.

That means you learn about, and more importantly will get hands on with:

– Studio strobes.
– Light metering.
– Light stands.
– Pocketwizards.
– Backdrops and how to use them.
– Snoots, GOBOs and Grids.
– Gels, and how to make them work.
– Using Prime, Fill, Hair- and Background Light
– Model Positioning.
– All relevant camera settings.
– The Three Magic Recipes for flash.

You will also learn terms like Rembrandt lighting, Short vs Broad position, etc. Time allowing, we will also do a creative one-light "chiaroscuro" portrait, and weather allowing, we will do an outside shot.

This four hour meetup normally costs $199. But for you as members it's $125. Lunch and refreshments are included. We will go ahead with a minimum of three member signups.

You will leave with knowledge and experience making a standard four-light business portrait. In other words: you'll be a portrait pro after this!
