Megoween - Meet at Mainstreet Pub

MegoWeen in Downtown Melbourne is a hoot! ~ Costumes optional ~
$10 admission - first beer or soda free We'll meet at Mainstreet Pub (out back) then proceed to the gate, where we'll pay to enter the street party Let's meet at Mainstreet Pub and then make our way through the crowd to see the show! It's sort of like Carnival... the streets are jam-packed with people in costume (and not). There are food and drink vendors and a non-stop parade of sights to see.
Find us at Mainstreet Pub (in the back/outside area)... Meetup at 8pm... then we'll hit the street at around 9 (don't be late or you'll never find us in the crowd) text me if you're looking for us [masked] don't forget your camera! ~ Teresa

So fun to see everyone in costumes! It was difficult to stay together in such a large crowd but I think everyone had a good time....I sure did! can't wait to see the pictures

What about some car-pooling from over by Mel High? There's a huge parking lot on the corner of Hibiscus & Babcock...across the street from McDonalds..

    from Gary:
There is plenty of parking behind the Henegar Center. There is parking along US1 & Strawbridge. It is not too far a walk from Front Street park along the river just south of the causeway. Many folks walk farther to get there for the 4th of July fireworks. Many of the side streets have parallel parking. There are also several small businesses along US1 north of Strawbridge that will be closed by then.
