This meetup group is for Portlanders who are into:

art, beer, bicycling, books, camping, computers, cooking, crafts, dancing, diy, dogs, food, gardening, hiking, kayaking, knitting, movies, music, permaculture, photography, politics, reading, sewing, sustainability, travel, urban farming, wine, writing, yoga... you get the idea.

We coordinate our activities using Meetup and Bright Neighbor to help people work on what matters. We have multiple micro-farming projects running throughout Portland, and have created an alternative economy for trading goods and services.

Our focus is to empower micro-farmers to make all the food, fuel, and local goods and services needed to sustain ourselves in Portland. Our network of over 3,200 members features Portland's finest and most positively active people having a fun time improving our city.
