Life and Soul in association with Brighton Centre of Spirituality are delighted to host an evening with Elsie Spittle and Chip Chipman.
Elsie and Chip are honoured to be asked to share “The Living History of the Three Principles” as discovered and taught by Sydney Banks. In this talk you will learn about the Three Principles, how they have developed and how you can use them to transform your life.
In 1973, an ordinary working man with only a grade nine education, experienced a profound spiritual insight, bringing to light the Three Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought.
These three mystical gifts, inherent in all humanity, provide a means to transform one’s life by:
Revealing to us our true self; our natural, inherent wisdom that leads to peace of mind and happiness. Resolving life’s challenges via wisdom and understanding. Creating harmony in relationships, both personally and professionally. Syd’s vision, from the moment he uncovered these Principles, was to help alleviate humanity’s suffering. He stated unequivocally, “These Three Principles will change the fields of psychology and psychiatry and relieve the needless suffering that comes from going into the past to find the answers.”
It is Elsie and Chip's privilege to share the living history, up to this point, of the extraordinary discovery by Sydney Banks.
On Sydney Banks’ website: http://sydneybanks.org/reflections.html , Mr. Banks states: “Chip Chipman and Elsie Spittle are the two individuals whom I believe have the deepest understanding of these principles, as well as an unwavering dedication to sharing them in their purest form. As such, I have asked them to take the leadership role in helping me with this priority [referring to the Three Principles School, based on Salt Spring Island, Canada].”
About Elsie
http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/3/8/8/8/event_69554472.jpegElsie Spittle, President of 3 Principles for Human Development, Inc., has been an internationally recognized trainer and consultant for over three decades. She is one of the few people who knew Sydney Banks, originator of the Three Principles, before he had his profound insight, and who stuck by him, despite her own early strong resistance. Elsie had the privilege of receiving “on the job” training directly from Mr. Banks, travelling with him to address mental health practitioners, educators, and others seeking a deeper understanding of life.
Since then, Elsie has been invited to consult with all levels of executives and employees in the corporate world, and has been instrumental in transforming disadvantaged communities. She has worked with staff and youth in juvenile justice settings, as well as with individuals via coaching and retreats, and is co-founder, with Chip Chipman, of the Three Principles School, dedicated to sharing the integrity and purity of the Principles for the benefit of future generations.
Elsie is the author of Our True Identity. . . Three Principles, 2010, and Wisdom for Life, 2005.
About Chip
http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/3/9/3/c/event_69554652.jpegChip Chipman is President of Vantage Consulting Group, Inc. Chip’s work, based in the Three Principles, spans over thirty years and has touched thousands of individuals and a wide variety of organizations, both corporate and not-for-profit. In partnership with his wife Jan, they have helped many executives, managers and teams find common vision, alignment and a truly “in-service” approach to each other and the people they serve. Chip and his wife have also worked with many not-for-profits and other institutions including drug and alcohol rehabs, prisons and jails, working with adults as well as youth. They consider these projects as the most inspiring and touching experiences of their careers.
Throughout his career Chip has worked under the direct mentorship of Syd Banks, always seeking to share the power and gift of the Principles, in a way that is consistent with how they were “discovered and taught by Sydney Banks.” In his teaching, consulting, and one on one coaching, Chip keeps in mind the “spiritual fact” that every person we encounter already has wisdom and health within them.
Chip is president of the Three Principles Foundation and co-founder, along with Elsie Spittle, of the Three Principles School.
