This month’s Green Drinks is being held downstairs at the Blue Man on Wednesday 26th[masked]pm.
With short talks by Rich Howarth from the Biosphere Project & Warren Carter from Moulescombe Forest Garden.
The talks kick off at 7pm, followed by a Q&A, and drinks after.
All welcome, please spread the word and why not bring a friend.
There are 610 UNESCO Biosphere Reserves spanning 117 countries, with 6 in the UK. Rich Howarth will be talking about plans to create creating a Biosphere Reserve on the Downs - from Shoreham to Ringmer - to protect and enhance our internationally important landscape, species, and cultural history.
Warren Carter is a manager at Moulescomb Forest Garden, an award-winning Brighton garden project that transformed a patch of derelict ground off Lewes Road into a wonderland of wildlife in its world garden, heritage orchard, fairytale forest and organic vegetable gardens, that anyone can visit to learn new skills.
If you like people, beer and sustainability, then you should be at the World Famous Green Drinks.
Come and enjoy a drink and listen to inspiring talks with some like minded people at Brighton Green Drinks. You might be deeply immersed or working in sustainability or environmental areas, working for the 'other side' but green at heart, or not very green at all but think you might like to dip your toe in over a glass of ale and have a mingle.
Green Drinks is a monthly occurrence happening on the 4th Wednesday of every month.
