Lambda expressions in Java 8

With the launch of Java 8, the language has just gained one of the must-have features for functional programming: functions (specifically, lambda expressions). This month, in association with Functional Brighton, we'll do a live-coding exploration of what this looks like, and what it gives you, including a look at streams in Java 8.

There will also be a brief summary of Java 8's other features and whether it is time to switch.
