Talks evening: git!

Version control is essential for Java developers and git is becoming ever more popular. Darran Eteo presents a basic introduction to git. Afterwards there will be a discussion of some advanced features and controversies: Should you host your own repo or risk using cloud services? What is the one true way of managing branching? We will settle these issues once and for all! The session will be suitable for git novices and regular users. Beer, pizza and soft drinks will be supplied by our sponsors, Brandwatch.
