This year's Brighton Fringe offering is a dramatisation of that much -loved children's classic by Louisa May Alcott, "Little Women". For the best seats, book direct with Brighton Little Theatre as normal, rather than through Brighton Fringe site - I booked B8 and B9 at the very first performance of this run, the 2.30 matinee on Sat 4th May.

Hope to see you there - and why not join us later for "Chopped Liver and Onions" at the Lantern Theatre (separate event)?
"Louisa May Alcott's 1868 classic and moving 'coming of age' story is accepted as ‘revolutionary' and for many years has been one of the most widely read novels. Cunningham's faithful and exciting adaptation follows the trials and triumphs of the four March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy and their mother, 'Marmee', living in somewhat impoverished circumstances in a small Massachusetts town while their father is away during the Civil War. Loosely based on the lives of the author and her publisher, this adaptation is underpinned by important conversations between Louisa May Alcott, and Thomas Niles Jr."
If you try to arrive between 2 and 2.30, we can have a drink and a chat in the cosy bar first.
For those who haven't been to the BLT before, here are some more detailed directions - PLEASE DON'T TRUST GOOGLEMAPS TO FIND IT!!!. From Western Road, immediately opposite Primark, turn into Clarence Gardens, which leads into Clarence Square. With Flight Centre to your left, walk closely past the Cauldron pub on your right, and at the end of the pub, go down 2 steps into a little alley-way past 5 or 6 houses on your right and through a little gate at the end, into a small square yard. The door to the theatre is straight ahead of you. Walk in, up a couple of steps and down some steps into the bar, where you pick up your tickets - and we'll all be waiting for you! Phew! See you there!
