It's not a camera club or society, it's not a SMUG - it's a National Photographic Society (NPS) PUG Photography User Group, where photographers, whether enthusiast, novice, beginners, professional or aspiring pros come together to socialise, talk photography and learn from each other. Our main base will be the Woolpack Inn, Burgess Hill, but will vary periodically in order that those from further away can join the fun.
This group will be a good as the people that create it - so come along and join us. There will be speakers from the world of photography, live demonstrations, The Flash Centre and Rosco Labs will provide demo kit; trips out; photo walks; experience shoots and more - this group is about the members, you;-) The group is open to all photographers, even if you are not an NPS member.
We have nearly completed the 2012 meeting and event programme and top photographers have agreed to join us to speak and demonstrate - including Glyn Dewis, Editorial Photographer, Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Photoshop and Photoshop World Instructor; rising wedding photography star Daniel Venter. We are negotiating a vineyard or brewery tour, including photo-opportunities and a firework party with the opportunity to learn how to shoot fireworks.
