BUG 4: Tales of Glyph Quest

Details
You don't need to be a programmer to make a game. Veteran Game Designer and Unity aficionado Alex Trowers gives a personal and inspirational account of how he made and submitted a puzzle RPG for iOS:
Alex Trowers: Two non-coders release their first game with Unity. Or: How to make a development cycle as hard as possible
She left her job to move in with me. She got pregnant. I got fired. No jobs and one of us is fit to burst. Probably not the best time to decide to go it alone and make a game. Which will arrive first? It's even money.
You may think crunch is hard, but try that with a chestburster gnawing on your bladder. Then throw in a deadline that simply cannot move. With only rudimentary coding knowledge and no prior experience of the App Store submission process, this is the story of how we doubled down on Glyph Quest (http://glyphquest.com/).
Alex Trowers
Alex has been making games for over two decades now, cutting his teeth back at Bullfrog when they were still awesome. His career has seen the incredible highs of some well-loved games and the incredible lows of studios collapsing. He lives for gameplay design. Failing that, he lives for telling others about gameplay design. Now he's about to give fatherhood a try. What could possibly go wrong?

Note that this Meetup is this Wednesday. Apologies for the short notice. We wouldn't ordinarily do things this close to the wire, but given the nature of the talk there is a very narrow window of opportunity. The baby is due at the end of the month, so please check your email or twitter (https://twitter.com/BrightonUnity) before setting off in the event that we have to cancel at the last minute.
In any case we will adjourn to the Saint James Tavern at the end of the road for 9pm.
Hopefully see you on Wednesday!
Nicola.
