All hail PaperSeven (http://www.paperseven.com/) who are our hosts this month! David Jefferies, PaperSeven's Technical Director, will be sharing his experiences of using Unity to develop a chart-topping game for mobile.

Lessons Learnt from Making a Hit Mobile Game With Unity3D

Unity3D is a powerful engine but many technical challenges stand in the way of your development team when using it to create a great game for mobile.

This session explores those challenges and what you can do to overcome them. It covers practical advice for sharing assets between team members and setting up source control and build machines. Pitfalls to avoid with mobile performance and memory allocations, as well as rules for handling exceptions, code structure and metrics.

David will be sharing what went right and, crucially, what went wrong when developing Made In Chelsea The Game (https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/made-in-chelsea-the-game/id712246923?mt=8) which reached #2 in the iOS charts.
