Prayer through Clay

SOLD OUT A practical opportunity to work with clay and see how this expressive medium can enrich our spiritual life. Discover how through clay we can be drawn into a deeper awareness and understanding of our faith journeys. This retreat day includes an introduction to basic clay making techniques. No previous experience of working with clay is necessary. We are all clay in the Potter’s hands. Bring a Bible, if you have one, an apron, packed lunch – and an open mind.

The day is led by Mary Penley, a local ceramicist, and former staff member of the London Centre for Spirituality. Mary is training in spiritual direction and is a member of the Community of St John Baptist.
