Do you want to walk a path of wisdom and compassion?

Are you interested in inner transformation and outer transformation of our world?

If you put aside what you think you know about Jesus and approach the Gospels as though for the first time, something remarkable happens: Jesus emerges as a teacher of radical wisdom and compassion, whose aim is nothing less than the transformation of human consciousness. And his aim is to breakthrough our habitual thinking and to effect a complete conversion of our minds and hearts.

Cynthia Bourgeault looks to the Gospels, to contemplative experience, and to recently discovered ancient Christian documents (such as the Nag Hammadi scriptures and the Gospel of Thomas) to reveal a fresh new understanding of Jesus and his teaching.

Join us for a study & practice group exploring Cynthia Bourgeault’s Wisdom Jesus over five evenings, spaced over September and October, starting Wednesday 7 September 2016. The subsequent evenings will be Thursday 15 Sept, Thursday 29 Sept, Thursday 13 October and Thursday 27 October. Before signing up please ensure you can make a minimum of four of these five evenings.

We will meet in a home in central Hove (address to be confirmed on registration). We'll start the evening with a simple shared meal to start each evening. After the meal there will be time for meditation and shared reflections on the book. The group size is limited to maximum twelve people.
