Given the mix up with the library booking dates, I
just want to let people know that the arrangement with the documentary crew (as
in being there, now, on the 17th instead of the 10th) is still
cool.
Apologies for the confusion - but stuff
happens.
Cheers,
Steve.

Hi guys,
Just to let you know that the documentary maker
will definately be coming to our meeting tomorrow (Monday). I should
point out (and apologise for my sloppy reporting) that the people involved are
not from the ABC but are producing a doco that they expect to sell to the
Compass program.
Cheers,
Steve.

to our Meetup
I have been in discussions with a producer from the ABC
programme 'Compass' who is making a documentary with the topic 'when I die'.
Basically she wants to film our next meeting and then interview a few of us
afterwards (see the message below).
As you will see I've insisted on
some privacy constraints and so I hope that no one feels there is any
impediment to attending the meeting. In fact I'm hoping that as many of you
as possible turn up in order to demonstrate we are not just a group that can
easily be ignored.
Cheers,
Steve.
Dear Steve
Thank you for contacting me today regarding
our documentary ? ?When I Die...?.
For yourself, and anyone one
else who is happy to be interviewed, there are three main questions we
will be asking:
? What do you believe happens to you when you
die?
? How did you form those opinions?
? Have you always
had the same beliefs (& if not ? what made you change your
mind)?
Apart from those questions, others may come up during the
interview but the whole documentary is based around the above questions.
Each interview only takes a few minutes so if you have a few people happy
to be interviewed they won?t have to wait around for too long.
The
documentary is interviewed based with no narration so it is
non-judgemental.
We are happy to completely pixellate the faces of
anyone in your meeting who does not want to be recognised. We will also
make sure that that the voices of those people are not used in the
documentary.
