Bristol JS Message Board › JS testing - Wed 8th Aug
SouthvilleJS is back this week for another packed evening.
Kicking off with a lightning talk from the only person allowed a regular slot, Adam Butler with node+three.js, heckling is encouraged.
Jamie Dyer will show us how to be more professional, deliver better products and make the day job easier with JS testing.
Finally the boys from Mubaloo have kindly offered to showcase some of their mobile wizardry.
Hope to see you there!
This is the final Southville JS event currently planned --

Unit Testing, test driven development, stress testing, load testing, live testing (I made that up) - one way or another we all test our code. Usually we leave it to the user and deal with it later. This is unfair on the user and unprofessional.
Engineer your tests, make them interesting to write, get in to the practice of writing tests as a matter of course. Get setup at the beginning and updates as you go along a small bit of pain today will save you from the headaches tomorrow.
Got a lightning talk you can talk about? Let us know.
Got any dev tips you want to share? Let us know.
Got a JS project that's shiny and new and you can showcase? Let us know.
Got the urge to try your presentation skills but don't know what to discuss? Let us know.
