About The Houston British & Irish Expats Meetup Group

Hi Everyone,

We are a bunch of random British and Irish expats who find ourselves on the other side of the Atlantic and generally happy to be here (enjoying the weather) . Along with a few South Africans, Kiwis, and Aussies who all fit in beautifully.

I guess what we all seem to be missing most is pub nights out, a few beers, a glass of wine, a meal with good company, a chat, the opportunity to hang out without hanging out in bars.

An evening/afternoon of laughter and chat awaits you, so see you at the next meet up.

These Meet up events are ONLY open to Members and their Spouse/Partner/Friend. We know its hard coming out for the first time so you can bring one friend to that but we do try and keep it within our group, otherwise we would just be any old social club.

We occasionally have open meet up's where you can invite friends (lots of them) usually holiday events or dancing something like that.

I do want to note that our meetups are not for selling stuff unless you set up a date and then if people want to go to a jewelry, tupperware, mary kay party they can, otherwise they really are not welcome, to just turn up.
