Hi Folks! We won't be able to join you tonight after all - with about a week to go til our due date, I am finally beginning to have that "dragging" pregnancy feeling. Hope all of you have a fun evening!

We are packing up to head downtown, still uncertain about the weather. The CSO weather update phone line will update again at 6. Graham's cell is[masked] if you need to find us.

    Lucy et al,

I have been monitoring the weather carefully and also called the CSO . At the moment the concert is still on. The NWS is calling for isolated thunderstorms with a 30% chance of rain. Looking at the radar there is a very large and nasty system on its way but it looks like it may go just to the south of downtown. However, the air is unstable and the storms are very likely to strengthen.

We are going at the moment, but I leave it to each individual at the moment. I would suggest that anyone who has t optravel a long way, to not go.

Hi everyone. Wondered if is this still going ahead? Know the weather forecast is still looking a bit uncertain..

There is, unfortunately, bad weather forecast for Saturday and if there are thunderstorms in the area, then the CSO may cancel. As a result I suggest that you do not buy tickets in advance yet and we will decide on the day whether we will go ahead with this event.

I wish this was still at Chemical Abstracts. Were do people park? Is it a long walk to the concert? Thanks! Amy

Amy, I too prefer CA but the Commons is great place, a real part of the Columbus Community and well worth coming down. As for parking, there are 3 underground car parks in close walking distance $4-$5 depending on which one you chose as well as some free street parking. Wherever you park, it is not a long walk.

The meters around the commons are all blocked off on concert nights. There are some meters on 3rd, 4th & between 3rd & 4th. You can also park in the big garage between Rich & Main--entrances on both streets. Entrances to the concert are on Rich and off State going through the Galbraith pavilion beside the Ohio Theatre. Just watch for folks in yellow vests if you have questions when you get there.

Norman, yes General Admission tickets are what to get and cheapest way is to get them in advance from Kroger's. We don't sit in the VIP section. We will make a space for those who are coming, slightly stage right behind the cross path, and have a flag on show to advertise where we are. Update on parking. The parking garage allotted to the commons, underneath the commons, is the closest place to park. Entrance to it is off 3rd st which is Southbound only. I went down downtown yesterday and checked the meter situation and there are lots around there and they are free after 6pm, but they fill up quickly.

What a fun idea! Although this is extremely close to my due date, I will do my best to be there. Fingers crossed I don't have to cancel on short notice. Looking forward to the event! Louise

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
