The Great Bacon Pilgrimage

This meetup idea was suggested quite some time ago, and I'm of the spirit to see it happen this fall!

What is the Great Bacon Pilgrimage?

It is a little-known fact that all Bronies-NYC members get a special 10% discount at the holy-land of bacon, the Baconery, a magical Bakery which makes everything... with BACON!

Since bacon makes everything better, it is something that must be EARNED, and so the idea was thought up to have a meetup where we hike from the lower reaches of Manhattan, up through central park, and all the way to the promised land of bacon up on 911 Columbus Avenue between 104th and 105th (http://www.baconery.com/).

For those who can math, that's over 100 blocks of hard walking, and for sweet, savory bacon, it is well worth the effort.

So what do we do? Well the group would all meet at some pre-determined location, grab a drink and buddy up (it's very important to have buddy so no one gets lost or left too far behind! This way we can all go at our own paces from "oh my god I want that bacon now!" to "Why are you just standing there when there's bacon to be had!?")

Once everybody has their groups/buddies chosen, we all hoof it uptown, taking the time to chat and get to know each other, getting some great exercise, and seeing a big chunk of Manhattan along the way.

So are you guys in? The only cost of this meetup is the cost of the bacon - and all you have to do is get there! (Lazy cheaters can take the subway uptown and meet us for a snack)
