Living in an apartment with a dog is often a challenge, especially when that dog was bred to run full tilt for 12 hours a day! As someone living with a border collie, I often get stressed out about finding enough for him to do. I'm sure other people with herding dogs feel the same and I figure it might be fun to get together and do things with our energetic companions. This purpose of this meetup group is to meet other border collie (and similar breed) lovers, learn about training techniques and spend time together, hiking, running, playing in the park and anything else anyone likes to do with their border collie. This group is open to anyone who shares their home with a border collie or similar breed, such as an Australian shepherd or Shetland sheepdog, but you should only join if your dog is good with other herding dogs!
