Dear Members,
Are you working on any cool projects, developing a start up, or looking for a project to jump on? Come out Wednesday night (April 23rd) at 7pm and Pitch to the group, in 2 minutes or less! After the pitches, members will mingle over cocktails and hopefully get some insight, support, or collaboration. After all, that is what BHM is all about!
Anyone interested in pitching must send an email to the BHM organizers with a (1) Company or Presentation Name, and (2) a description of the pitch, and (3) information on what stage your idea/company is currently at (Just an Idea, incorporated, product development, etc.) Also, a brief Bio of the presenters will make for a more informed audience. Registration also helps us schedule accordingly. PLEASE, REGISTER FOR PITCHES BY MONDAY, APRIL 21st.
Format:
Each Pitch will last 2 minutes, and have a 2 minute Q & A. Pitches will be limited in number (likely to 6) depending on how many applicants we have. This event is an opportunity for our members to showcase both their innovative minds and technical skills, while fostering support, collaboration, and receiving critical feedback--all in 2 minutes or less! We expect a high caliber of projects to be presented from our intelligent membership, and look forward to seeing our members in action.
BHM organizers are currently seeking out experienced Tech professionals, Angels, and VC groups to attend our event, and raise the stakes! Any updates on confirmed attendees will be relayed accordingly.
For those of you interested in Pitching, but have some reservations about Intellectual Property Rights, I will be providing standard one way NDA's (non disclosure Agreements) allowing you to Pitch your work fear-free. Each Group who registers for the Pitch will have an NDA prepared specifically for them, and can request BHM members listening to the pitch to sign it at their own discretion. While this may increase "transaction costs" in terms of time, it is worth giving our members peace of mind.
