In an effort to offer our members more rides in more places and with varying times for the weekdays and weekends, The Brooklyn Mountain Biking Group is looking for more Assistant Organizers.
You might be asking yourself what is the role of the Assistant Organizer?
Here's a basic description:
1 - The Assistant Organizer will have access to Post Rides, Greet and Approve New Members, and communicate with members in offering more riding opportunities in our Area and locations beyond.
2 - Responsible for posting rides on legal trails for specific riding level with detailed information and being the lead for the scheduled ride.
3 - Will greet all riders at scheduled ride and ensure all riders are prepared for the trail which includes confirming all riders where a helmet, confirming skill level of riders, communicating the pace of the ride, length of ride and a brief trail description.
If you like to ride different trails and Parks weekly or if you ride specifically at one trail every week, it might be a fun way to get involved with the group by becoming an Assistant Organizer and/or leading rides.
If you are interested and would like to be an assistant organizer, or maybe you'd just like to lead rides for the Group you can post your thoughts and comments on our Message Board or you can contact me at: [address removed] or [address removed]
We're beginning to gather more members and the more rides we can have the better it will be for everyone!
Be Safe and Have Fun!
