First meetup! Introduction to Ruby/Rails and getting to know each other.

Hello everybody!

I would like to welcome all of you to Brooklyn Rails Developers meetup group. Its great to have you here.

I am excited to announce that our first meetup this coming week on Thursday! I hope this will work for all who plan to attend.

I am thinking that during this meetup we will get to know each other and introduce ruby and rails. Then we will continue with installation of ruby and rails. We could also get into basic ruby and rails stuff if we have time and also it could depend on everybody's knowledge.

I am pretty open to suggestions about how and when we should have these meetups. Please let me know of your ideas if you got one.

One more thing, I started this group just by myself. So, I will be glad to have some people as a co-organizer or co-host if anybody is interested.

I would like to thank Turkish Cultural Center of Brooklyn for their kindness for offering their center for our meetup.

If anything comes up to my mind, I will add. :)
