Cat servants!

Is everyone okay? (Human and cat alike?) Especially our friends in Queens, New Jersey, and other hard-hit areas? How are you doing without power if you don't have power? If you need help and can't find a neighbor or nearby shelter to help, please feel free to post on this board and perhaps a fellow cat servant can help.

If you are okay, and are going stir crazy, now might be a great time to see if your local shelter or rescue could use a hand with emergency placement of displaced cats, clean-up, replenishing lost supplies, etc. Petfinder is giving an update of shelter needs here:

If you are a feral cat colony caretaker, or just know about a bunch of cats that live in the neighborhood that you are worried about, please check out these tips from Neighborhood Cats:

And remember--if you need to get to a shelter in New York, all shelters MUST take your pets, cats included. If you have discovered otherwise, please let us know. Here is the list of New York shelters:

And here is the original announcement from the ASPCA that says you can bring your pets with you to the shelter (print it out or bookmark it to your phone if you need to present it.)

Please stay in touch with us and let your fellow Cat Servants know if we can help!
