Welcome to our group!

We are a fun group of single & married female friends who live in or near Broward County.  Broward Ladies is a ladies club in the traditional sense. Our group is very active and we get together for a wide variety of events. 

Our members are aged from 26 to 44; this is also our suggested age range for new members who wish to join. 

We have a wide variety of interests, are mostly college educated professionals, care about our appearance and health, are positive and friendly and know the importance of building solid friendships through shared experiences.  If you are within our specified age range, fabulous and glamorous, can hold an intellectual conversation, considerate with good manners and etiquette and generally a fun, confident and positive person to be around, then you'll fit right in with our tight-knit group.

This meetup.com platform is what we currently use to schedule all of our events, you can sign up with your Facebook username and password by clicking on "Join Us".

We need to be able to recognize you at events and therefore require a real and recent photo of you as your profile photo - you will not be accepted as a member of this group if you have your pet or a landscape as your profile photo.  

We also require a few questions to be answered, as with any other application, please take care when answering the questions and please be honest about your age.  Once you've been accepted as a member you will receive our new event notifications and reminders via email and you can RSVP directly on this webpage.

Our events are organized by a large group of event organizers and active members, events are mostly be centered around a theme, activity or community event based on member suggestions and interest. Since a lot of our members are married and have children, some of our events over the weekends are family friendly: significant others and well-behaved kids are welcome.

A few examples of our type of meetups:  theme parties, lunches, brunches, picnics, cocktail parties & dinners.  Volunteer and community service activities: beach clean ups, charity walks etc. Girls' night in events: hair and makeup artists invited for demonstrations.  Project parties/craft classes where we share or learn new creative skills: painting, sewing, beading, baking etc.  Girl's night out events: movie nights, dinners, visits to upscale venues, charity galas etc. Group workouts: instructors invited to give private lessons: tennis, yoga, or even just walking around the park.  We also have a network of local businesses who arrange VIP events just for our fabulous group :-)

This club will always remain private and exclusive, only members  can see our activities, locations and member profile information. 

!! WARNING !!

This club is for friends - nobody needs an unreliable and inconsiderate friend. 

Because our events fill up very quickly, often with waiting lists, members are expected to RSVP responsibly.  We keep a very accurate record of attendance after each event. 

Members are diligently removed for

- flaking or spot hogging (holding a spot just to cancel at the last minute for many events),

- no showing (RSVP'ing YES then not showing up or explaining why afterward - 3 strikes and you're out!) and

- lurking (Inactive for over 6 months). 

New members need to be especially aware of the above. 

New members are expected show up to an event within 90 days of joining.

If a new member flakes or no shows within 90 days of joining they can expect to be removed from the group. 

First impressions count!

We love supporting our friends's businesses, however we are not a business networking group.  New members are not allowed to try and sell products or promote their businesses at our events.

No Debbie Downers, No Bitchyness, No Drama - new members who prove to not be a good fit for our group will be removed.
