Dear WordPress developers,

• Have you ever had headdesk moments because your theme or plugin was not working as you were expecting it to work?

• Are print_r and echo functions your best friends when it comes to hunting down a bug by writing out variables values to screen or to log files?

• Did you ever wanted to change some behavior or to extend an existing plugin but the plugin was just too complex?

If you relate at least in some way to the issues listed above then we are inviting you to join the next Bucharest WordPress Meetup workshop titled "WordPress Debugging with PHP Storm".

What's in it for you in this workshop:

• We will install and configure all the necessary prerequisites (Apache, XDebug, PHPStorm)

• We will help you configure your own development environment for WordPress debugging

• We will debug PHP WordPress code

• We will debug Ajax requests on both ends: debug the JavaScript call and then the PHP that handles the request

The workshop will be coordinated by Marius Vetrici - http://www.vetrici.com - an experienced software developer that has been playing with various debuggers for different programming languages since 1996.

When: Tuesday, August 18 2015, 19:00 (please arrive at 18:45)

Where: Impact Hub (piata Unirii)

Don't forget to bring your laptops!
