Breakfast at St. Lawrence Market for a Peameal Bacon Sandwich and...

... plenty of other food choices. There's a great crepe place tucked away downstairs if you're not a meat lover.

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE RSVP'ING YES.

The St. Lawrence Market was originally opened in 1803 and must be visited if you want to be considered a true Torontarian. The sights, the sounds, the food all need to be experienced. Meat, cheese, baked goods, spices, arts and crafts. It's just a really cool place to hang out.

Peameal or Canadian Bacon is one of the few internationally recognizable Canadian foods and the St. Lawrence Market is the place to experience it.

We'll meet to the west side (closest to Yonge) of the main entrance on Front St. in front of the red doors between 8:30 and 8:45 and we'll head in at 9am on the nose. Depending on how many show up we can go in as a group or we can split up with the other awesomely friendly members you've been talking with from 8:30-9. I'm the tall blond in a black jacket and jeans. If you can't decide which tall blond in a black jacket and jeans I am...  just yell for me. My number is[masked] if you need to reach me before 9. If you're late you're on your own so please try to be on time.

PLEASE NOTE: When you rsvp yes to an event it means that you are going, not that you like the idea and might show up if you have nothing else going on that day or that you slept in or that your finger hurts or that you were running late and missed the bus or... . It means you are going to attend. The biggest complaint I hear from other organizers is that people just don't show up after they've rsvp'ed yes to a meetup. Unfortunately, I to have experienced this and have recently implement a no show policy. If you do not show up or change your rsvp within 24 hours before the meetup on 3 occasions I will remove you from the group. Period.

I'm sorry! I slept in. I did set my alarm, I'm not sure why I didn't awake. I'm really sorry!

Seriously??? Not one of you could show up or at least add a comment that you weren't going to make it. I've been here a hundred times so I could have slept in after being out with the group last night. That's just wrong. (All choice words that I wanted to use have been removed from this comment)

This is too early for me after a too busy work week. Hope all have fun.

I would love to join a flash mob (not a kissing one though :). That's on my bucket list!
