Chef is a configuration management framework that can be used to define and assert a particular configuration state on your infrastructure. Using a configuration management tool like Chef allows for us to define our infrastructure in code & apply traditional code development processes/patterns to the development & organization of our systems.

Nathen Harvey is an accomplished Chef trainer & evangelist who will be joining us to demonstrate effective test-driven development of infrastructure as code within Chef.
