Salsa Night at Epic

At 10:00 Epic has a latin dance night. Salsa will be the predominant dance for the night but some Bachata, and Merengue will be on display as well. A quick lesson showing the basic steps for each will be dance will take place, followed by open dancing until 4 a.m.

This is our chance to put our Wednesday night tutelage into practice. But for anyone who may not have participated in any of the Wednesday sessions this lesson should be enough to get you started. None of us are that good so you won't really be left too far behind. Girls have it especially easy as they simply follow what the guys do.

Well meet up a little bit before the lesson to get settled in and grab a drink to take some of the edge off. Anyone who went last time can attest to the fact that a few drinks seems to bring out some moves you didn't know you had.

As mentioned in the previous Salsa posts, if you've never tried it before this is a great way to get started and if you're simply curious about salsa, you can always go to just watch (There is no cover and they have a bar). A partner is not necessary as we will be swapping during the lesson and throughout the night so showing up solo is just fine.

This place is pretty nice so semi formal dress wear is recommended. Dress shoes for guys and heels for girls is best. Stay away from boots at all costs.
