  • I wanted to schedule another ski night before the discounts expire!

Wednesday is the best option for timing and weather forecast, but I'm flexible on the day. Holiday Valley offers several discounts on week nights. Here's some of the promotions:

    • College Nights: Present your valid college ID at the main ticket window for a $28 night lift ticket Sunday through Thursday. Ticket valid 4PM - 10PM.
    • McDonalds 2 for 1: With the purchase of McCafe Beverages or Hot Chocolate at McDonalds, receive a coupon good for 2 lift tickets for the price of one, valid Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday nights (4PM to 10 PM), beginning January 2 through March 13, 2013. Participating stores are: Jamestown, Fredonia, Westfield, Salamanca, Bradford, Cuba, Wellsville, Coudersport, Arcade, Olean, Titusville, Springville, Gowanda, and Warren PA.
    • Intense Milk Winter of Fun lift ticket offer: Bring in the cap from a specially marked bottle of Intense Milk and get 2 lift tickets for the price of one valid Monday through Wednesday nights from 4-10 PM.

I'm interested but I'm new in USA, whats approximately all the cost (renting everything + ticket + transportation) and whats the best way to get Holiday Valley from Buffalo State College?

Rentals are $23 for skis, $26 for snowboards, and $6 for a helmet if desired. The lift ticket is $28 with a college ID. I typically take 190 south to 219 south to get to the resort... takes about an hour.

I definitely want to get some more boarding time in before the season ends. I'm good most days of the week, except Wednesday. I'm also happy to teach any novices that are interested in going.

The weather is a bit questionable for the next few days, so I'm considering moving this to a later week unless somebody is truly interested in going Wednesday. Unfortunately, this Wednesday is the last day for the 2-for-1 discount, and I think the night skiing may be limited after this weekend. My next choice is Sunday night, but I'm going to look into the Spring skiing discounts and see what works well.

I hear you on the weather. The rest of this week doesn't really work for me anyway. Sunday sounds good.
