“Are Big Name Conferences Worth Attending?”

Have you wondered if those “big name” conferences you read about in the newspaper are really worth it? David, Rosalie, Louise and Luke will tell you their experiences at two such conferences and you can be the judge.

Our scheduled speaker for tomorrow backed out on Sunday morning. As luck would have it, the four of us had tickets to go to the “One Day University” at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Sunday afternoon. On the way in, we decided that we might be able to be the substitute program.

On the way home, we decided we could each tell points of interest and let those present be better informed and decide for themselves whether they think it would be worthwhile for them to go to this conference next year or any other “big name” conference.

Each of us will share what we got out of the “One Day University” and David and I will share highlights from the Nobel Conference which we attended two weeks ago. After these presentations there will be time for questions, and sharing other conference experiences.

The program we were given at the One Day University Conference will be handed at the meeting.
