Come to a Buffalo Writers Meetup to discuss the writing life, trade literary tips, get constructive feedback on your work, and enjoy great discussions. We offer Meetups during the week as well as on the weekends to try and accommodate as many schedules as possible. All writers are welcome!
The format for the Meetups is simple: If there are new members, we do brief introductions all around the table. Then anyone who wishes to can read aloud from their work and solicit feedback. It's a relaxing, fun and supportive environment.
NOTE: Please limit the length of the work you bring to Meetups to 1,500 words or less. We ask writers to read their work aloud; it's helpful if you bring enough copies of your piece to hand out at the Meetup (check the Calendar a few days before the Meetup to see how many writers have responded Yes or Maybe).

Your organizer's refund policy for The Buffalo Writers Meetup Group
Your organizer will refund you if:
- Your organizer closes their Meetup Group
- Your organizer removes or bans you from their Meetup Group
- If you'd like to attend one Meetup of the Writers Group to see if you'll like it or not, that is fine. If you decide to continue, please pay your $5 annual dues after that. Thanks.

This covers: Dues cover the $144 annual fee that the Organizers pay to have the Meetup site.
Payment is accepted using:
- Cash or check - “You can give your annual $5 dues to Cindy or Denise at a Weeknight or Weekend Meetup.”
