Need Your Help! Let's Get Lots of Photos and Video at our March Events!!

Hello Doxie Moms and Dads,

Looking forward to seeing those of you who will join us this Sunday for the Buffalo St. Patty's parade, and the following week at our planned March meetup event in Delaware Park. Can't wait to enjoy the amazing early spring weather and have a great time with our weiner dogs! Also, can't wait to meet those of you who are NEW members, we are so glad you have joined the group! Welcome!

Need a little help from our members please! As I will be representing our club at BarkWorld Expo this fall in Atlanta, GA, I'd like to encourage everyone to please record LOTS of video and take lots of photos of our St. Patty's parade walk and March meetup in Delaware Park.

I plan to share this great stuff with those attending the conference and show how Buffalo Dachshund Club members use social media to connect with one another and share media related to their pets! Please post your stuff on Facebook and on!

Thanks in advance for your help to share our story with other pet-related groups across the country!

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon, and please make sure to review the safety rules for the parade. They are posted on the meetup event webpage (

These rules are to keep everyone safe and secure during our walk. For those who are new to the parade, this is a super fun event, but can be VERY overwhelming for the dogs and even for young children, as the parade route is very loud and crowds get excited when they see us. Please review the rules and let me know if you have any questions.

ALSO, for those of you who are new, the parade begins officially at 1:00PM, but in the past we have not begun marching until close to 2PM, so please be prepared to WAIT in our line up spot for a while. Feel free to bring a collapsible chair, non-alcoholic drinks or snacks for the wait. Thanks and see you there!!
