All About AngularJS

Yes folks, the time is upon us.  Jon Donaldson from Campus Labs will be presenting two talks on AngularJS!

Getting started with Angular
Basic concepts around spinning up a web application using Angular.

Real world application concerns
Taking the next steps by using more advanced Angular components to add more compelling features to the application from the first talk.

Meetup Location Info
Campus Labs ( will be hosting the event, starting up at 6pm.  For getting into the building, here’s the plan:

Parking is available on the streets around the office (Ellicott and Eagle primarily and in the ramp next door).  Come to the entrance on Ellicott St. and someone will let you in the door – you’ll be directed up the stairs to the office, which takes up the second floor.

There will be food and drinks for all, so come one, come all, and prepare to get your JavaScript on!

Will this be useful for people who have never used AngularJS before or is it expected that we have some type of background knowledge?

Hi Alex, good question! The first talk is intended to help those new to Angular get started. The second talk will introduce more advanced topics based on the project built in the first talk. We hope to see you there!

This is going to be a nice topic, I just finished two projects concerning angular js. I'd like to do a follow up presentation after this dealing with breeze.js using angular as the application. It's an extension of MEAN.IO framework.. called BMEAN.IO. (Breeze, mongo, express, angular, nodejs). I'll set one up as soon as I wrap up the material.

That would be great - thanks Sultan!

Hey no problem :) I've been wanting to do this for a while anyways. I might come late to this since I'd be on my way back from a camping trip.
