Welcome Keepers!

This meet-up group is open to full-time/part-time Stay-at-Home Moms and Dads with infants and toddlers. We also welcome parents-to-be and families.

GOAL - - - Our goal is to get out, explore our beautiful city and all it has to offer year-round; and perhaps build new friendships for our children and ourselves. We want to offer the opportunity to relate with individuals who are experiencing some of the same things we are going through on a daily basis.

PURPOSE - - - This is meant to be a very casual, unstructured playgroup; a group where we can gather and socialize while our children play and interact in a safe environment. We will do things such as meet for breakfast or lunch, have picnics in the park, walks along the lakefront, museum visits, zoo outings, and scheduled playdates in each others homes. New events will continuously be added to the calendar, so please bring your little one(s) out and join us!

In some cases, special arrangements may have been made to make the event possible. We ask that you please stay up-to-date with the group and try to RSVP to all events to ensure that the host knows what to expect as far as attendance is concerned.

HOSTING - - - If you are an interested in hosting an event, please contact me (email address listed below). You will have full control of the event as far as the number of guests preferred, ages of children, time and date. You do not necessarily have to host an event in your home, you can always suggest a play center, or story hour that you and your child enjoy. All we ask is that you post your ideas/events with enough advance notice so that others can plan to join in and enjoy.

Also, we are always looking for fun suggestions on things to do, so please forward your ideas, even if you don't wish to host! Mom's Night Out, exercise classes, movie matinees...we'd love to hear your thoughts!

Make sure and check the message board for updates, tips and suggestions from other Moms/Dads and shared community information! Please feel free to start your own discussion.

MEMBERSHIP FEE - - - An annual membership fee of $10.00 is suggested for the upkeep of this site and for the management of the group. Fees can be paid after you have joined in on two (2) events and know whether you like the group or not. Payments can be made by cash or check and can be given/mailed to the group organizer, Pauline Williams. More info. can be found in the "Membership Dues" section of this page. (Please make checks payable to PAULINE WILLIAMS).

SPONSORSHIP - - - We are also looking for sponsors to support our group; so if you have an interest in becoming a sponsor and advertising your product or business on our site, please contact me for details!
