Printer Filament

Note that we will be at Champlain College this month. With any luck, we will settle down there for the long haul.

This month we will discuss filament makers. Dump pellets in one end and get filament out the other. Why? Because pellets are 10x cheaper than filament! I will bring a Filastruder. I have invited Tyler to show his Filabot, and another group member may show some filament that they are making with a filament maker of their own design.

If that does not fill up the 2 hours, let's discuss the makes and models of printers that you are considering buying or building. If you want to bring a printer, let me know.

Feel free to post messages to the Discussion area if you have questions, need help, have suggestions, or want to review printers, filament, or services. And also feel free to ask me questions about SketchUp if you find that it is not as easy as I made it look!

August will be either Blender, AutoSCAD, or 3D Scanning.
