Come have a drink and food at Arts Riot. And while we socialize, let's brainstorm ways to strengthen the data science community in Burlington VT.

Pivot to Data Science
We've been the "R Users" for a while, but last December, with a mere 2 days notice, we gathered an enthusiastic crowd of 30 to hear the Data Science for Social Good talk (blue line, above). And, now, as we close in on the 100 member mark, we've decided it's a good time to explicitly shift the group identity toward the general practice of data science. We feel it's important to be inclusive of all of the tools and perspectives that let us engage in our important work of learning from data and communicating what we learn.
