A loyal customer is never enough!

Hello Networkers,

Join us for our next Network and Learn Event @ The Link!

Date: 07/16/2013
Time: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Venue:[masked] Street NW Edmonton, AB T5J 0X6

Here’s your opportunity to meet, mingle and network with fellow entrepreneurs and professionals. You’ll also learn from a featured guest speaker who will share their expertise on a particular business topic.

This Month’s Guest Speaker: Greg Gazin from Parallel 2000 Corp.

Title: A loyal customer is never enough!

Giving your customers good customer service along with the right product at the right price isn't enough in today's marketplace. Changing needs, rapid obsolescence, faceless technology and global competition can turn the tides of loyalty in a heartbeat.
But not all hope is lost. With an understanding of the stages in the loyalty process with relevant engagement and involvement, you'll be amazed how you can transform your customers not only into advocates but into valuable partners and ambassadors for your business.

As a self-professed serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience including over a decade in retail, Greg will offer his insights and offer relevant personal examples to help you take your customer relationships to the next level.

As usual, there will be free refreshments and a door prize draw with great prizes to be won which will be made shortly before 3:30 pm.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Please RSVP on Meetup and advise if you cannot make it closer to the date.

I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation. I am always engaged with my customers and practice faithfully moving them from a client to an advocate. I guess I was just looking for more leading edge on ideas on new technology, email campaigns, etc. What do customers appreciate most from us? How can we elevate them to become an advocate? Ken

Thanks Ken. Some of what you were looking for is beyond the scope of this presentation. Tough to cover everything in 30 mins, even then, I had to leave a few things out! :) We did discuss elevating them to the next level, but again, impossible to go into detail. In the past we did do a 90 minute leaning session on this topic. As for other things like email etc, I believe the Bus Link does offer webinars in that area in fact I think the rep from Constant Contact has come in before. You mentioned customer appreciation. Perhaps a talk from the customer perspective would be a good idea - maybe in the form of a panel or forum discussion. Thanks for chiming in.

I really enjoyed my first Meet up! I was glad to have an opportunity to learn some basics, as I have been out of the business world for years! Great services and support. I came from Central Alberta and thought it was worth it, except for the fact so many people came in very late, half an hour into the meeting...I almost didn't come in because I was a few minutes late, and thought myself to be inconsiderate to the speaker, very sorry for that Greg! Also not enough chairs were available and that too I am sure was disrupting for the speaker, again my apologies. Sincerely Christine

Thanks for the positive feedback on my session. I'm thrilled that you all found it useful. The fire alarm testing just added to the ambiance :) Once before, at a convention centre I was delivering a keynote and had to compete with an electric saw! :) Was I was wondering was what was one point that you found useful or that resonated with you?

Have to admit, my first Business Link get together. It was fantastic! Great to see some familiar faces (Laura Saueracker, Debra Kasowski, Nyssa Cromwell, Rich Horning) and meet some new potential business associates! Greg's presentation was full of great usable information and he did a fantastic job delivering it, even over the fire alarms. I guess you could say his presentation was Smoking Hot! Will definitely attend again!

I park away from the downtown and catch the LRT. Bay/Enterprise station is right there.
