Why do you work out in a gym?

You live in Southern California, get out and enjoy it!!!  You can get in the best shape of your life through functional, outdoor fitness with other like-minded folks from our community. "Crossfit" style workouts will be 30 minutes or less (see www.crossfit.com), headquartered at the beach down at Big Corona. This is a totally free group, we just ask for a $5-10/session donation from our regular members to grow the equipment, pay meetup fees, etc. - compare that to our local gyms that charge $150/month and boutiques that charge $40-75 per session!

I'm a former Marine Intelligence Officer with experience coaching 5-500 through workouts. I'll provide the equipment and format, you just bring some motivation! You don't have to be in great shape, but if these workouts just look too intimidating, contact Vanessa or me about private or small group training before jumping into the group sessions.  Husband/wife combos or friends are more than welcome!  The posted "workout of the day" is just a guideline, and we can substitute exercises to meet nearly any fitness level or injury/rehab limitations.  We meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:15am rain or shine, with hardcore extended sessions when it rains!  See you out there!
