Presented biennially since September 2001, the Center for Inquiry—Northeast Ohio Humanism Award honors Northeast Ohioans who have played a significant role in helping to foster a secular society based on science, reason, freedom of inquiry, and humanist values.
Please join us this year as we honor Case Western Reserve University theoretical physicist Mano Singham, a teacher of science both in and out of the university classroom, an outspoken humanist and a progressive social commentator. This event is open to anyone interested. We especially welcome those considering joining CFI-NEO.
Our guest speaker is Vyckie Garrison, founder of the No Longer Quivering blog (for women who have or have thought about escaping the Christian fundamentalist "Quiverfull" movement). What can be better than talks, dinner, and conversation with your fellow Northeast Ohio humanists?
